September Happenings

This has been an exciting month for us thus far. Both the girls started school, we are continuing our pool construction, both the girls started their team sports...we are busy!

I just received two childhood pictures of myself today from Lisa Beck, a childhood friend. I have known her longer than anyone else I am currently in touch with from up north! I really wanted to share those pics. She is the little blond in the one with my sister and myself. The other one is her younger sister that I was entirely attached to when I was young, little Laura. Good ol Sonoma, my roots!

Zoe started the 7th grade at Stacey Middle School. She loves every minute of it! She also belongs to a youth group at Fountain of Life Fellowship and is having a great time. In July she received her first cell phone for her birthday so her social life sure has exploded! I can't believe how fast she has come to this point in her life. Zoe is so beautiful and full of life!
Ellie started Pre-K at Rossmoor Children's Center. She is adjusting to her new teachers and new classroom but also loves every minute of it. In August she began playing soccer on her first organized team...Little Skittles! Her first game left a lot of questions as to whether or not she truly loves soccer as she previously suggested; however, we are teaching her that you don't quit on your team and you honor your commitment. Our Ellie is such a joy...and never a dull moment with her! Another gorgeous girl, if i do say so myself!

Troy is busy teething, crawling, discovering everything, being clingy to Roy and I...oh, and undoing the toilet paper rolls whenever possible. He is the cutest little boy I have ever seen! Oh, I suppose I am a little "prejudice" in saying that...but I sure do love my little boy!!!

Our pool is coming along.....can't wait!

What a wonderful blessing my family is!
